I enjoyed your breakdown on this video. I am a Shapiro fan. Not normally a Maher fan, but he did well to point out perspective. Everytime I see Maher I remember his movie career and can’t get past that. Having watched children in diverse classrooms, I believe those with the most self discipline and parental support are the most successful. That is regardless of personality type or race. Personal self discipline sometimes means to shut your mouth and listen. So if you are dedicated to self promotion and personal power growth to the exclusion of others you probably have a listening problem and in this man’s case, he didn’t think the comment that he didn’t know what Shapiro said would make him look stupid, but it could be a listening problem, assuming he has intelligence. He was formulating a retort instead of listening to what was being said. Shapiro’s 25ยข words were not hard to comprehend if he had been listening and Shapiro is always generous to explain his meaning when asked. He would rather be understood than score off a person.
